This covers the Marble Mac app and marble.surf. The short version is on the trust page.
1. The board
Your board is a file on your Mac. We don’t host it. We don’t sync it. We don’t read it. Delete the app or the file and it’s gone from your machine.
2. Pages, cookies, logins
Marble is a real browser. Cookies, cache, and logins live in a local profile on your Mac so you stay signed in after you quit. Nothing is synced to us.
3. Passwords
Saved passwords stay in the macOS keychain. We don’t sync them. We don’t see them.
4. What we collect
Mac app. On launch we send one anonymous ping to TelemetryDeck: a hashed install id, app version, and OS. No URLs, no board contents, no email, no hostname.
Windows waitlist. If you leave an email on marble.surf, we store that email, the OS you picked, a timestamp, and basic request metadata (browser and referrer) in Cloudflare KV so we can write when a build is ready.
Support. If you email us, we have whatever you sent.
The marketing site does not use Google Analytics, ads, or session replay.
5. Third parties
TelemetryDeck receives the launch ping. Cloudflare hosts the site, the download redirects, and the waitlist. We don’t sell data.
6. How long we keep it
The launch ping follows TelemetryDeck’s retention. Waitlist emails stay until you ask us to drop them, or until we no longer need them to write you. Mail you send us stays in that inbox until we delete the thread.
7. Your choices
You can delete the app and the board file any time. To remove a waitlist email, write [email protected]. Same address for questions about this page.
8. Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we’ll update it here.
